In 1990, this American SUV was lying inert in the open on the outskirts of Almeria in southern Spain. No one could have imagined that this rusty vehicle, painted bright red, had been witness to one of the biggest Allied offensives of the Second World War. Saved from certain death by the Fundación Jorge Jove, today, now restored, it is once again as strong as it was in 1944.
